The investigation that started in Plano led detectives to track the suspects in three other states.
Plano, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – Plano police arrested three people believed to be responsible for a series of burglaries that targeted Sputh Asian residents in Plano and other parts of the metroplex last year.
Plano Police Sergeant Andre Smith told our media partner WFAA_TV that eight such burglaries in the city, and another seven across the metroplex nearly all followed the same pattern with “doors forced open.“
Te three suspects, all Columbian nationals, are charged with engaging in organized criminal activity. Plano detectives along with federal authorities tracked the suspects across three other states; Georgia, North Carolina and Florida.
Dinesh Hooda of the Indian Association of North Texas told WFAA-TV that he’s happy to hear the news of the arrests on Tuesday afternoon.
