Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – Building a new elementary school and modernizing some others are proposed plans for a 1.5-billion dollar bond issue at Fort Worth ISD. If approved by voters on November 2, other funds have been earmarked for 3 new small community-base stadiums, competition venues and field houses.
District Superintendent Dr. Kent Scribner told WFAA’s ‘Inside Texas Politics’ that town hall meetings held before the pandemic, identified the issue of concern for parents who want access to those activities closer to home. Currently Fort Worth 3 stadiums that serve 14 high schools.

Meantime, statewide there are 8 ballot measures that have been certified to be placed on the ballot, including one that would amend the Texas Constitution to prohibit limits on religious services and organizations; eligibility of judicial candidates and homestead tax exemptions for surviving spouses, among others. The last day to register to vote is today, October 4. Early voting begins on October 18th and runs through October 29.
January 1 was the first day to apply for a ballot by mail using Application for a Ballot by Mail (ABBM) or Federal Post Card Application (FPCA).

- Tuesday, November 2, 2021 (election day) at 7:00 p.m. OR Wednesday, November 3, 2021 (next business day after Election Day) at 5:00 p.m. if carrier envelope is postmarked by 7:00 p.m. at the location of the election on Election Day (unless overseas or military deadlines apply)
