NORTH TEXAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack are among several major retailers reopening their stores statewide today.
In a recent statement, the company said it plans to reopen stores in a “phased, market-by-market approach where allowed by local authorities and with the health and with the health and safety of employees, customers as a priority.”
In an effort to keep its employees and patrons safe, Nordstrom said its implemented these procedures.
- Conducting health screenings for employees.
- Providing face coverings for employees and customers.
- Taking steps to allow for social distancing of six feet or more, including limiting the number of customers and employees in the store.
- Increase cleaning and sanitation.
- Continuing to offer contactless curbside services at full-line stores.
- Altering hours of operation.
There are several Nordstrom locations across the Metroplex including at NorthPark Center and the Galleria in Dallas, Stonebriar Center in Frisco and at North East Mall in Hurst.
There are Nordstrom Rack locations in Dallas, Frisco, Plano, Southlake and Arlington.
Burlington will open the majority its stores on Friday and brands under the Gap Inc. umbrella, including Athleta and Old Navy, will open later this month.
