(WBAP/KLIF) FORT WORTH, TX — Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price has announced tighter restrictions to fight the spread of COVID-19.
A day after announcing a limit of 125 patrons at bars and restaurants, Price says beginning Wednesday the city will enact more stringent guidelines, including that all restaurants and bars be restricted to drive-thru, delivery, or take-out orders. The mayor says the city is also closely evaluating other guidelines that the CDC is recommending.
In addition, Fort Worth may have city workers enforcing social distancing in high traffic areas of the city, including large box stores and supermarkets. The mayor also targeted the younger generation for containment help.
The new guidelines brings Forth Worth in line with other north texas cities.
