(WBAP/KLIF) — Motorists along I-35 E should have a quicker commute through Denton county, thanks to the completion of a lengthy construction project.
Emily McCann with TXDOT says the two-year project is 90% complete, which has relieved congestion and ended traffic detours. The $33.2 million project was originally planned for completion in June of 2019.
However, the relief may be short-lived as TXDOT plans to rebuild the Mayhill interchange in 2021.
