Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – Fort Worth Police say they don’t believe there is any lingering danger to residents in the Overton Woods neighborhood, as they continue a murder investigation in the area.
The body of a woman was found Tuesday in the upscale community not far from TCU. Police have determined that the victim is not from the area, and has no ties to the university .
The star-telegram reports, police believe the victim and suspect were traveling through the area.
The family of the victim — identified only as a white woman in her mid-30s has been notified.
Detectives are following up leads on a possible suspect.
