Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – The capital murder trial of a 24-year old repeat offender gets underway tomorrow in a Dallas courtroom.
Lonzell Hunter is charged in the 2016 shooting death of 42-year old Martha Teran, a Dallas mother who was killed in the parking lot of Medieval Times while trying to sell her IPhone. A meeting to sell the phone to Hunter was arranged on the buy/sell app OfferUp.
At the time, Teran was with her adult daughter who was able to provide a description of Hunter, along with a cell phone number.
Another man, then 25-year old Javan Bush is also charged.
