Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – More evacuations have been ordered this morning in the area where a natural gas explosion took the life of a 12-year old girl last week.
Dallas Police and Atmos officials are going doo-to-door along Bowman Boulevard and Chireno Street asking residents to leave.
According the new evactions areas area as follows:
Odd numbers of the 9800 block of Bowman; Odd and Even numbers of the 9900 block of Bowman; Odd numbers of the block of 9900 Chireno

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Atmos Energy has expanded the area for its precautionary evacuations in a northwest Dallas neighborhood where a house explosion killed a 12-year-old girl last week.
The company said that brings the total number of homes to 71.
The latest evacuations include homes in the 3500 block of Gaspar, Fontana, Bolivar and Almazan Drives.
Atmos said its crews were going door-to-door Tuesday afternoon to get service restored to more than 50 homes in the affected area and replaced 2.5 miles of pipe as a precaution.
The company said there were in the process of moving 250 residents staying in 9 hotels across North Dallas to a more central location in order to serve them better.
The explosion, which occurred Friday morning at 3523 Espanola Drive near Love Field, angered residents who said they felt something was wrong following two other fires at nearby homes earlier that week.
Dallas City Council members Adam Medrano and Omar Narvaez held a community meeting at Foster Elementary school Tuesday night for people affected by the evacuations.
Atmos said that residents can meet with Atmos Energy representatives at the Command Post located at the intersection of Webb Chapel Road and Larga Drive from 7 a.m to 11 p.m.
