(Rowlett, TX) Rowlett Strong, Inc., the organization that raised over $50,000 for tornado relief after the 12-26-15 Christmas Tornado,” has announced a City-Wide Spirit Event in support of fallen Richardson Police Officer David Sherrard, who lost his life last week while carrying out his duty to protect the citizens of his city.
Richardson was one of the leading cities in North Texas that helped Rowlett in its time of need. In keeping with Rowlett Strong’s mission of giving back to those that helped Rowlett when we needed it most, we, on behalf of the citizens of Rowlett, wish to do what we can to help the family of this officer through the uncharted waters that lie directly in front of them.
Attached is a list of restaurants in Rowlett and Wylie that have pledged to give a percentage of their daily receipts, and the days that they are participating. The list is subject to change and the most current version can be found at the link below.
