Several Texas Cities Rank High on List of Best Places to Find a Job in 2018

(WBAP/KLIF) – Wallet Hub is out with a list best places to find a job in the new year.

The online site compared 180 cities on things like job opportunities, job growth and monthly average starting salary.

Plano ranked high for its average median income and most affordable housing.

Garland got high marks for highest employment growth.

Six other Texas cities made the top 50, to include Dallas, Irving, Grand Prairie and Austin. Fort Worth ranked 88th out of 180.

Chandler, Arizona and Shreveport, Louisiana were first and last on the list respectively.
