DALLAS(WBAP/KLIF)- Prices at the pump are excepted to remain high through the holiday weekend, according to AAA of Texas.
Since last week, motorists throughout Dallas and Fort Worth have seen an almost ten cent increase for a gallon of gas, now averaging $2.21. Doug Shupe with AAA of Texas says a record number of holiday travelers can be blamed for the increased demand.
But, prices are expected to go down after the New Years holiday, as motorist make fewer road trips during the cold winter months.
