DALLAS(WBAP/KLIF)- Health and Human Services in Dallas County have reported two more deaths related to the flu, bringing the total to number to five this flu season. The fourth patient was a 59-year-old resident of Dallas. The fifth patient was a 81-year-old resident of Irving.
“Influenza activity is increasing in Dallas County and we are seeing an increase in emergency room visits,” according to Renae Crutchfield with DCHHS.
But Crutchfield says that even in the middle of the flu season, its still not too late to get the flu vaccine. The vaccines are being given at the first floor offices of DCHHS located at 2377 N. Stemmons Frwy in Dallas for a cost of $20. To find out more information, call 214-819-2162.
