DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) Farmers Branch – An officer involved shooting in Farmers Branch has sent an officer and a woman to the hospital. Kris Garrett with farmers Branch Police says it started with a traffic stop around 11:30 last night in the 2800 block of Valley View.
Gunfire between an officer and a person in the car broke out. The officer and a female passenger were injured and both were taken to the hospital. The man driving the car was arrested.
The officer and the woman are both listed in stable condition. The reason for the traffic stop was not released. This is a developing story.
