DALLAS(WBAP/KLIF)- Feel free to get seconds at that Thanksgiving feast, as the average cost for the iconic meal is its lowest since 2013. Dr. John Newton with the American Farm Bureau Survey says for a gathering of ten, you can expect to pay $49.12, a 75 cent decrease from last year.
“We’ve seen lower commodity prices across all of agriculture that has lead to relatively flat retail prices,” according to Newton.
Increased production of turkeys and favorable growing conditions of pumpkins have helped in reducing costs.
