(WBAP/KLIF) Riding the DART Green Line home on Sunday, July 30th, Kennan Jones was brutally beaten by a group of at least 7 people. Jones says this all happened after he asked them to stop smoking their marijuana on the train: “All of a sudden, they started smoking. I’m like come on man. We’re on the train. Put that out right now. Wait until you get off the train. It’s not that serious to smoke. You got other people on here who don’t want to smell all that. That’s when it escalated…” Jones told WFAA.
During the attack Jones suffered a black eye, sore knees and bruised ribs. A GoFundMe Page has been set up to help with Jones’ medical bills and recovering fees.
