DALLAS, (WBAP/KLIF) – The Dallas Mayor’s free Back To School Fair is coming up this week on Friday, August 4th. The event is scheduled to take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fair Park and walk ups are welcomed.
“We’re expecting big crowds, 35,000 children and parents, and we have 15,000 school supply packets to be given away to students who qualify” said Patricia Blasquez with the City of Dallas.
The fair will offer free health, dental, and vision screenings, along with free haircuts, entertainment and other services. Eligible families can get free school supplies as well.
