(WBAP/KLIF) The real estate market has continued to jump to new levels. The month of June marks the highest single month for: “Number of New Listings,” with 7,190 properties listed. Jonna Fernandez is with the Collin County Association of Realtors and she says that timing has played a huge factor in the increase: “Summer months are the main time of year that people are looking to move. They want to be able to sell their home and get into to another home and be move in ready in by the time that school starts so that the kids are settled and everyone’s ready to go.”
Fernandez says she won’t be surprised if trends decrease as the fall season arrives as that’s to be expected.
