Undated (WBAP/KLIF) – Only a small percentage of registered voters turned out yesterday for run-off elections in several north Texas cities. The races for three city council seats in Dallas are not exactly over. Hundreds of mail-in ballots have yet to be counted because of voter fraud investigations swirling around them, but in those races all three incumbents are losing, and would have to win huge percentages of the mail-in votes to turn it around. So, while it’s technically not impossible for them to still win re-election Dallas Mayor Pro Tem Monica Alonzo, Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Erik Wilson, and council member Tiffinni Young have almost certainly lost their re-election bids.
On the other hand voters in three cities did manage to elect mayors. Pat McGrail has been chosen mayor of Keller. Kevin Falconer is the mayor of Carrollton, and Robert Dye has won the Farmers Branch mayoral election.
