(WBAP/KLIF) The Irving Police Department is investigating a homicide that happened early Sunday morning. Officers arrived to the 3300 block of W. Walnut Hill Lane finding three adult shooting victims. All three victims were taken to Parkland Hospital to be treated for their injuries. Two victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries but 18 year old Ledajrick Cox died from his injuries. Cox was a recent graduated from Carter High School.
In a release, Officers say that the victims with two other friends at the 7-Eleven convenience store at Beltline Road and Walnut Hill when an argument began between some of the group and a male suspect. Police say the male suspect followed the group after they drove away and pulled up next the victim’s car and shot multiple times.
The suspect has not been located since fleeing the scene and Detectives say they are attempting to identify the three adult black males who were in a newer model white sedan as the persons responsible for the shooting.
