LITTLE ELM (WBAP/KLIF News) A waiter at a Little Elm Applebee’s got the tip of a lifetime for his kindness. Kasey Simmons says he saw a woman crying at Kroger. He told WFAA he wanted to help, so he paid her $17 grocery bill and told her she was beautiful. Later, a woman ordered a flavored water from him at Applebees, the cheapest thing on the menu at 37 cents then left a $500 tip, and a note. The customer explained her mother was the one at Kroger and was sad because it was the 3rd anniversary of her husband’s death. The note thanked Simmons for his kindness and told him it extended further than he could imagine.
