DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) New freshmen at Grady Spruce High School are getting a shot of encouragement today. About 115 staff members are visiting the homes of 300 students who will be new to high school, doing what they can to ease the pain of transition. Principal Danielle Petters says she hopes a strong freshman orientation will lead to success for the class of 2020. Petters is excited about the jump in the school’s graduation rate from 86% last year to 92% this year. Staff will be out making visits until noon.
