RIO (WBAP/KLIF News) An Olympian from Dallas is bringing home a silver medal. Madison Kocian won second place in Rio on the uneven bars. The competition is the only gymnastics event that Simone Biles did not qualify for. Russia’s Aliya Mustafina took home the gold. She started with a higher difficulty score, and while Kocian’s execution was scored better than Mustafina’s, she wasn’t able to make up the difference in difficulty. Germany took home the bronze.
