Frisco (WBAP/KLIF) – Early voting starts Wednesday in Frisco for an August 27 school district tax ratification election. Frisco ISD’s board says the need for new schools in the fast growing district is rapidly outrunning its ability to pay for them, so it wants voters to approve a 13 cent increase in the property tax rate, the largest allowed by state law. Opponents say the district hasn’t done its due diligence at controlling spending.
