OAK CLIFF (WBAP/KLIF News) – Two people are dead after a house fire in the Red Bird area of Dallas.
Flames broke out at the one-story brick home in the 700 block of Havenwood Drive shortly after 1:00 a.m. Tuesday.
A woman was found dead inside the home. A man was on the front porch suffering from smoke inhalation and burns. He was rushed to a hospital where he later died. The couple’s dog was also killed.
Fire investigators said burglar bars might have kept them from escaping.
A cause of the fire is under investigation.
