ENNIS (WBAP/KLIF News) – A tour bus on its way to the bluebonnet fields in Ellis County crashed into a train underpass on Thursday, injuring a group of senior citizens from Dallas.
It happened around 11:00 a.m. at East Baylor and Northeast Main Streets.
“There were 31 people that had to be taken to the hospital,” said Ennis Fire Chief Jeff Aycock. “Our biggest problem was not having enough resources to get those people to the hospital.”
At least four ambulances were dispatched to the scene.
No one was seriously hurt.
